De zondagse inspiratie deze week komt eigenlijk door een datum nl. 14 februari oftewel Valentijnsdag.

Ik moest daaraan denken toen ik van de week volop bezig was met de voorbereidingen voor de Handwerkbeurs in Zwolle. Die komt al heel snel dichterbij en het is al een paar keer voorgekomen dat het precies tijdens Valentijnsdag valt (en ook vaak tijdens de carnaval…). Dit jaar is de Handwerkbeurs van 11 tot en met 14 februari. Meer informatie kun je hier vinden: www.handwerkbeurs.nl. Wij staan er natuurlijk ook weer met een kraam vol heerlijke wolletjes! We heten je hartelijk welkom bij standnummer 16 (bij de ingang het eerste gangpad linksaf een na laatste stand links).

Oke, dan nu de inspiratie waar het deze zondag om gaat. De kleurstelling Romeo & Julia was al verkrijg op Diva Sport Moon en van de week heb ik deze kleurstelling ook op het nieuwe garen Diva Sock Marl geverfd.  De Diva Sock Marl is een superzacht garen (50% Light Grey Baby alpaca – 50% Extra Fine Merino) met een prachtige drape en ook nog eens heerlijk warm! En Romeo & Julia passen natuurlijk perfect binnen het Valentijns-thema, of niet soms? 🙂

This Sunday Inspiration is brought to you by an upcoming holiday in February – Valentine’s Day.

It popped up in my mind when I was already busy preparing for the Handwerkbeurs in Zwolle. The date for this craft show is approaching fast and for at least the last few years it coincided with Valentine’s Day (and Carnival in part of the Netherlands…). This year the Handbeurs takes place from February 11th to 14th. More information about this craft show can be found here: www.handwerkbeurs.nl. Of course we are going to have a booth there filled to the brim with gorgeous, soft, delicious, colorful yarns and fibers! You can find us at booth 16 (first aisle left a after the entrance, last booth but one on the left).

Right, back to the Sunday Inspiration for this week. The colorway Romeo & Julia* was already available on Diva Sport Moon and this week I also dyed this colorway on my new yarn base Diva Sock Marl.  Diva Sock Marl is a super soft yarn (50% Light Grey Baby alpaca – 50% Extra Fine Merino) with a beautiful drape and deliciously warm too! And Romeo & Juliet of course fits perfectly into the Valentine theme, don’t you agree? 🙂
